General Description:Responsible for delivering food to guests and keeping the dining room guest tables clean and organized during service.

REQUIREMENTS |
Operations:
- Complete opening side work checklist for shift daily
- Set up the dining room
- Active movement between dining room and kitchen to run food
- Clear tables after guests, wipe tables or seats with dampened sanitation cloths
- Remove used pitchers, buckets, cups, napkins, trays when guests no longer need them
- Stack dirty food trays and other tableware in the kitchen for cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of side stations throughout the shift
- Place dirty towels in their appropriate location
- Complete closing side work checklist for shift daily, including cleaning the dining room
- Maintains general knowledge of the restaurant, location, transportation, management team, etc.
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Inform Manager on Duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations
- Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible
- Attend mandatory team meetings
- Complete other duties as assigned by Management
Essential Functions:
- The ability to proficiently speak, understand, read and write in English
- The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
- The ability to understand basic math
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
- The ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging work environment
- The ability to approach their work with a sense of ownership and work with a sense of urgency
- The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and a variable schedule, per the needs of the business
- The ability to perform essential job functions under pressure and maintain professionalism when under stress
- The ability to consistently meet Kissaki’s hygiene and grooming standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook
- The ability to adhere to posted schedule and clock in/out at times
- The ability to adhere to all HR policies and guidelines
- The ability to adhere to all Kissaki and/or state and local COVID related health and safety guidelines

Work Experience Requirements |
- 0-1 years’ experience as a Server Assistant of similar caliber concept
|
Education Requirements |
- TIPS Certification, preferred
|
